Aim & Objectives
The broad objects highlighted in byelaws and for which the society is established are-
(i) To establish, promote and expand educational activities through schools, colleges, technical and vocational institutes, training institutes, research institutes so as to provide education to underprivileged groups of rural and urban societies in particular and others in general.
(ii) To organize and participate in Book Fairs, Exhibition, Debate, Seminar, Meetings, Kavi Sammelan, Sahitya Sammelan, Conference, Competitions, Street shows, Puppet shows etc for the promotion of education and create awareness related to education, health and social issues.
(iii) To establish, maintain, support and develop Libraries, Reading rooms, Publishing institutions for printing and publishing issues, books, pamphlets, papers, journals, magazines, broachers, periodicals, circulars, literary undertakings etc. having a bearing upon society.
(iv) To cooperate with Government and Non-Government Organizations for the promotion of educational activities.
(v) To help or coordinate in getting high quality socio- medical services from government and non-government centers.
(vi) Empower the rural and urban poor communities on issues of public health by equipping them with adequate information and also making them aware of health and vaccination facilities, tuberculosis, AIDS, reproductive health problems, night blindness, cataract, anemia, polio, drug and alcohol addiction etc for improvement of the health of the society.
(vii) Stress on antenatal check up and immunization schedule.
(viii) Improve the livelihood base of rural communities by wisely using the natural resources and enhancing the capacity of rural institutions to manage them properly for generation of income.
(ix) Provide access to people for protection and development of forestland, common land and wasteland through participatory approach in their management and sharing of benefits. Increase income levels by developing ecologically sustainable natural resource use practices.
(x) Improve the local farming systems through suitable interventions and technologies to reduce the use of chemicals, fertilizers and pesticides.
(xi) Organize trainings and counseling sessions for skill development to enable rural disadvantaged groups to choose from a variety of income generation activities.
(xii) Advocate the rights of children, women and bonded labor, rights of information and transparency. Also to reduce gender gap and create an environment where women can live with “Swabhiman”.
(xiii) To intervene with need based and focused approach at the time of natural calamities and disaster.
(xiv) Facilitate exchange of information among the organizations that are part of VIBHA family, network with other NGOs with similar agenda in Rajasthan and other regions of India and world.
(xv) Spread the message of “VASUDEVA KUTUMBKAM” and “NAR SEWA NARAYAN SEWA.”
